There was only minor movement on the charts this week, but some movement none-the-less. Motown Gospel’s “Motown Christmas” compilation continues to lead the way for a fourth straight week. On into the new year listeners are still enjoying the sweet sounds of some of Gospel’s best artists coming together in harmony.
Fred Hammond is #2 for a second straight week with “I Will Trust,” and another compilation “Wow Gospel 2014” comes in third this week in sales.
Also worth mentioning is Tasha Cobbs coming in 5th this week. One week shy of 100 weeks inside the top 10, Cobbs has solidified herself as 2014’s top breakout artist.
In the world of radio stations, Ricky Dillard & New G still has the top playing song titled “Amazing.” Tamela Mann’s “Take Me to the King” is still the top streaming song on the internet.
Falling out of the top 10 this week is the Gotta Have Gospel Christmas compilation and the Blind Boys of Alabama.
