PullCorp Media Group announces the nationwide release of Dr. Catrina Pullum’s memoir Breaking the Chains: From Hurting to Healing, on June 1, 2014. Dr. Pullum is currently on a media tour to promoting her memoir through radio and television interviews. Breaking the Chains: From Hurting to Healing is a story in which the author, Catrina Pullum takes you the reader on a journey through her life.
Her story is not her story alone, but a true from trials-to-triumph story. She speaks on several events from being sexually abused, to living in a domestic violence relationship, from being born to a teen mother and later becoming one, to alcoholism, divorce and more and how her connection to and relationship with God has allowed her to overcome them all.
In spite of life’s circumstances, the sexual and physical abuse, bad marriage, divorce, being a teen mom, her past pain has pushed her into purpose. Her relationship with God has allowed her to survive, maintain her sanity and somehow moves pass the pain. “I know today that the pain was all a part of my purpose and I use my story to help as many people as I can to fight through the pain and free themselves”, says Dr. Catrina Pullum.
Dr. Pullum is dedicating 20% of the profits from her memoir to Center of Empowerment for Families and Youth, Inc. to continue to their work in child abuse prevention awareness & Human Trafficking. Dr. Pullum has also committed to funding The Mary R. Harris Scholarship.
Breaking The Chains has been accepted by the Library of Congress and will be placed in libraries. The memoir is being picked up by several bookstores. Dr. Pullum is Empowering, Equipping, and Informing Lives. She is The Chain Breaker.
