The album features two Christmas songs by Jamie Grace, including an original track “Born Tonight,” two songs by Morgan Harper Nichols and a song by Harper Still, the collective name for the two sisters who regularly write and perform together. The album is available now through Gotee Records, iTunes and Amazon.
Jamie Grace is also releasing the lyric video for “Born Tonight,” a song that she penned specifically for this project. The song picked up 22 Christian radio adds upon release and debuted at No. 29 on the Christian AC Chart.
The Christmas EP marks the first official collaboration project between the sisters, who recorded the track “White Boots” together on Jamie Grace’s latest album Ready To Fly. This is Jamie Grace’s second Christmas EP, following the release of Christmas Together in 2011.
Family Christmas: Songs by Jamie Grace & Morgan Harper Nichols caps off an exciting year for Jamie Grace. Her latest album Ready To Fly released earlier this year and was declared the “real deal” by Sherri Shepherd, former co-host of ABC’s The View. Over the summer, Jamie Grace reached 500,000 singles downloaded for her breakout hit “Hold Me (feat. TobyMac).” The achievement launched Jamie into a league of only four female Christian artists to have sold more than half a million singles.
Also this year, Jamie Grace became the First Christian Artist to Appear on a 7UP Can at the K-LOVE Fan Awards. The award was completely voted upon by fans and was awarded to Jamie Grace in person by Pepsi MidAmerica President Lee Crisp. You can now find Jamie Grace featured on one of four million 7UP cans throughout Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas, Kentucky and Tennessee.
Jamie Grace plans to keep the momentum going in 2015, appearing on The Rock & Worship Roadshow 2015 with MercyMe, Crowder, Matt Maher and Tedashii. For more information, visit www.jamiegrace.com.
