To celebrate his 40th birthday today, Justin McRoberts has put together a FREE compilation of tracks from his career — 24 songs, including a full copy of his latest album, K! Titled 24 on 40, anyone can download the collection at Noisetrade.com now, and even offer a tip if they’d like to.
About the project, Justin writes, “I turn 40 on Jan 1. I’m being told this is a significant moment. Of course, most of the folks telling me that are younger than I am. Regardless, I’m taking a moment to reflect on the 15 years I’ve spent as an artist. And upon reflection, I’d like to thank you for being a part of my life and career. You are a key element in my life’s process.
“In that spirit of thanks, I am making a kind of offering. Think of it like the party favor you’d get if you came to the 40th birthday party I’m not having: 24 tracks I consider definitive of my career in some way (mostly lyrically and relationally).
-The first 13 songs are from albums that span the entirety of my career (Reason for Living to Deconstruction… and a touch beyond).
-The remaining 11 songs make up my latest musical effort, entitled “K.” K is the musical capstone to my recent CMYK Project, about which you can learn at http://cmykproject.info.
“Get the entire collection for FREE, right now… or leave a tip if you’d like.
Along with 24 on 40, Justin is offering his CMYK book at a special discount, “As if they saw it coming, Amazon has my book … wait for it … 40% off. Bam.”
