Portland-Based Worship Team BRIDGECITY Joins Forces With Maranatha! Music To Launch Debut CD

Portland-Based Worship Team BRIDGECITY Joins Forces With Maranatha! Music To Launch Debut CDMaranatha! Music joined forces with Portland, Ore. based worship team BRIDGECITY to digitally release their self-titled debut CD on January 22, 2013. Taking inspiration from their home city for the name of the worship team, BRIDGECITY’s passion is to write songs that would draw people into the presence of God.

Sonically, the guitar/synth driven band is known for their passionate songwriting, intimate worship moments and uniquely diverse musical stylings. The tracks feature sweeping keys, analog synth patches and soaring guitars as well as more stripped back moments with just a Rhodes piano and acoustic guitar.

“We’re excited to launch BRIDGECITY, and our prayer is that these songs would connect people’s hearts to the presence of God,” said Jeremy Scott, City Bible Church in Portland, Ore. “The worship experience and lyrics featured on this CD captures the passion of BRIDGECITY.”

BRIDGECITY is more than a band; it is a movement with a heart for the church and a passion to see people encounter God through worship. They annually host over 8,000 teenagers at their worship and lifestyle conference each January. In January 2013, BRIDGECITY will premiere their new project, and students from around the country will experience the new songs for the first time live.
