This is the first release for the four-time Stellar award winner on his new co-founded entertainment company, Mixed Bag Entertainment. Da Truth’s new imprint focuses on music, television and films, has inked an exclusive distribution deal with Entertainment One. Grammy award winner, J.R., will produce the album.
“I originally planned to step away from music until 2015 to focus on Mixed Bag Entertainment, but after almost a year of watching and observing the culture, I realized that I had a few more things that I wanted to share,” shares Da’ T.R.U.T.H. “What started as a 3-5 song EP, became a full length album. This record is fun – it’s experimental, gritty and engaging, and having my longtime friend help me to shape the project makes it that much more enjoyable.”
Listeners can look forward to features from Lecrae, Chris August, Isaac Carree, Alexis Spight, Canon, Papa San, Capital Kings, and newly signed Mixed Bag artists. Along with J.R., the album is being produced by Grammy award winning producer – Symbolyc One (S1), Justin Ebach, Alex Medina and more.
The four-time Stellar Award winner has released six solo albums to date including his latest release, Love,Hope, War. That release debuted at #2 on the Billboard Top Gospel Albums Chart in 2013, producing singles such as “J.I.F.E.”, “Hunger Games”, and “Hope”.
