Kanye West announced his new album was due to be released on June 18. The album is already drawing opinions from the Christian community for an unlikely reason.
West has titled his album “Yeezus,” an obvious play-on words to our savior Jesus. Kirk Franklin addressed the issue with a very careful biblical response admitting Kanye West was a friend.
During a trip to New York last month, the father-to-be stopped by his label Def Jam to play music. Hot 97 host Peter Rosenberg described the album as having a “dark” tone. “Everyone at the label listened to the album and loved it,” he said. “I heard it’s dark, but really good.”

That’s truth there, but that whole “Yeezus” thing is blasphemy. The guy(Kanye) is in bondage thinking he’s a “god”. There’s only ONE (John 14:6).
