MUSIC VIDEO: Montel Dorsey “Jesus Deliver”

Montel Dorsey and his full throttle, musically diverse praise squad MUniversity are creating robust sound for the Kingdom. After the successful release of their LOVE OVER HATE album and lead single “Celebrate”, Montel Dorsey and MUniversity are introducing a powerful second single and music video “Jesus Deliver”.

Montel Dorsey deeply shares his personal journey and faith through this contemporary ballad.

MUSIC VIDEO: Montel Dorsey “Jesus Deliver”“There is one thing that various cultures, denominations and religions agree on – the importance of prayer,” says Dorsey. “The difference is made when it is revealed to whom they are praying. As a child my nana taught me to pray to our Lord ‘Jesus deliver me’. I now know from personal experience that when life presents struggle, bondage and pain, and I need deliverance, I can call on the name of Jesus and He will deliver!”

Dorsey, who is also the First Presiding Prelate of the Christian Fellowship of World Wide Churches International, partnered again with extraordinary film-maker and photographer Derek Blanks for the “Jesus Deliver” official music video. Through the characters’ stories, the video inspires deep soul searching and salvation assessment with the Father. “Jesus Deliver” is also a musical tribute to Dorsey’s mentor the late Pastor Timothy Wright.

Montel Dorsey and MUniversity’s LOVE OVER HATE album is a non-stop, high impact sonic experience. The album includes the urban gospel dance infused single “Celebrate”, featuring singer Ruth La’Ontra (courtesy of Tyscot Records), Farrin Sherelle and rapper Janoir, the Afro-Caribbean inspired praise anthem “Power”, and the amped-up dance and shout track “King of Glory”.

Dorsey is gearing up to make several high-profile appearances in support of the LOVE OVER HATE album and will be on his “Jesus Deliver Media Tour” in May. Dorsey is set to impact over 13 cities from May – June traveling throughout the East Coast and Mid-Atlantic regions.
