One to watch, TIFF JOY Set to Release Debut Solo Album After Penning Ricky Dillard’s #1 Hit ‘Amazing’2014 Stellar Award winner and breakthrough songwriter Tiffany Joy McGhee (affectionately called Tiff Joy) to release her debut album, a self-titled The Chicago native, Tiff Joy, partners with fellow Chicagoan and award-winner producer, top selling artist VaShawn Mitchell to release the 12-track album under Walkway Music Group/VMan Entertainment and Tyscot records.

The eponymous album is the culmination of Tiff Joy’s efforts behind the scene. Whether it is writing songs for VaShawn Mitchell and Fred Hammond, or singing background with notable Chicago gospel luminaries, God has prepared Tiff Joy for her time to stand solo.

TIFF JOY features a combination studio and live recorded songs that will give listeners a full sense of Tiff Joy’s range and true arsenal of talent. The majority of the songs were recorded at Free Spirit Ministerial Church, her home church in South Holland IL. TIFF JOY is brimming with styles and sounds that are perfectly suited for the modern worship experience. With hints of influences from Israel Houghton, Donald Lawrence and others, songs such as “You Are,” “Holy,” “Almighty God,” and “Hallelujah” are exactly where Gospel music is headed.

The melodic first single, “The Promise,” showcases Tiff Joy’s resonant tone. Speaking about the eternal and awesome truth of God’s unchanging promises, the song powerfully encourages.  “The song reminds me that same God who made promises then is the same God to come through for us today,” said Tiff Joy. “I want to encourage people to keep holding on … God is

Tiff Joy also offers her own rendition of “Amazing,” the song that literally changed the trajectory of her career. Penned a few years ago, Tiff Joy performed the song locally in Chicago and caught the attention of Donald Lawrence. Lawrence in turn recommended the song to Ricky Dillard and the rest, as they say is history. “Amazing” went on to be 2014’s “Song of the Year,” and gave Dillard an impressive run at radio holding on to the number one spot on Billboard’s Gospel singles chart for over 30 consecutive weeks.

One to watch, Tiff Joy, proves herself as an emerging songwriter, singer and worshipper on this debut. TIFF JOY in stores and online everywhere September 25th.
