The track penned by Johnson Oatman, Jr. for Versatile Entertainment artist Tyrone Jefferson starts out with a unique blend of the organ and drumline kick, then breaks into the groove that eventually leads listeners to want to go “Higher” in the Lord.
This modern spin on the choir sound is just one of the rewarding payoffs people notice about Jefferson’s upcoming full-length album due out first quarter of 2019. Says Jefferson, “Keeping it churchy with a little twist on it will be the focus of this project.”
