This week on the Billboard Gospel charts, there’s a surprise as Anthony Evans takes the top spot in sales after being on the charts for 8 weeks. Evan’s latest project is called “Back to Life.” Last week’s #1, Wow Gospel 2017 comes in at #2, and J.J. Hairston & Youthful Praise come in at #3 with his new effort “You Deserve It.”
In the world of Gospel radio, J.J. Hairston & Youthful Praise have the top song with his title track “You Deserve It.” Donnie McClurkin has the second most played song at radio with “I Need You.”
On the Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) side of things, the best-selling album for the week is Colton Dixon, who debuts his project “Identity” at #1 in his first week of release. Still selling well is Lauren Daigle who comes in at #2 with “How Can It Be.”
In CCM radio the #1 song at radio belongs to Hillsong Worship with “What a Beautiful Name.”
