This Week’s Billboard Top 10 Gospel CDs: Hezekiah Walker Takes Back #1, Skillet Remains #1 on CCM

billboardThis week on the Billboard Gospel charts Hezekiah Walker strikes back regaining his #1 spot on the charts. Last week’s #1 Jekalyn Carr falls to #2 with “The Life Project,” and Wow Gospel 2016 is third. New on the charts this week is Candy West, who debuted her new project “Candy West LIVE” at #4 on the sales chart.

In the world of Gospel radio the most played song is Hezekiah Walker’s tune “Better.” Jekalyn Carr continues to hold steady with “You’re Bigger,” and Tamela Mann is this week’s greatest gainer moving up to #4 with the hit song “God Provides.”

On the Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) side of things, the #1 album belongs to Skillet with “Unleashed.” Hillary Scott & The Scott Family is #2 with “Love Remains,” and Housefires is #3 with “Housefires III.”

In CCM radio the top song is “Eye of the Storm” by Ryan Stevenson featuring GabeReal. Hillary Scott & The Scott Family is this week’s greatest gainer, moving up three spots to #2 with the song “Thy Will.”
