On the Billboard Gospel charts this week we have a new #1. Back from a brief hiatus is Gospel star Marvin Sapp who debuted his new album “You Shall Live” on top after it’s release to stores last week.
Last weeks top-seller Tina Campbell falls to #2 with her first solo album “It’s Personal.” Coming in third is the consistent selling Wow Gospel 2015.
In the world of Gospel radio, we have some big news to report. Casey J is finally supplanted by Gospel star Tamela Mann. Mann’s song “This Place” is the most played song at radio. Charles Jenkins’ song “War” is #2, and Casey J falls two spots to #3 with “Fill Me Up.”
On the Christian Contemporary music side #1 for a second straight week belongs to Hillsong UNITED with “Empires.” In CCM radio For King & Country takes over the #1 spot with their single “Shoulders.” Third Day falls to #2 for the first time in a month with “Soul on Fire.”
