This Week’s Billboard Top 10 Gospel CDs: Amy Grant & Kirk Franklin Take Top Spots
(For the week of Nov. 29 – December 6th) Kirk Franklin’s album “Losing My Religion” came out 55 weeks ago, and is back on top thanks to Christmas orders and a recent Soul Train Award win. Tasha Cobbs is also benefiting from Christmas sales coming in at #2 after 66 weeks on the Gospel sales chart. This Week’s Billboard Top 10 Gospel CDs: Big Daddy Weave, Kirk Franklin, and Chris Tomlin Lead the Way
For a second straight week Gospel icon Kirk Franklin is #1 on the Billboard Gospel charts. Franklin’s album “Losing My Religion” is the pioneers first album in over 4 years. Deitrick Haddon’s “Masterpiece” continues at #2, while Tasha Cobbs’ sophomore album “One Place LIVE” takes #3. New in the top 10 is choir master James Hall who lands at #10 this week. This Week’s Billboard Top 10 Gospel CDs: Pastor Tim Rogers and Janice Gaines Crack the Top 10
On the Billboard Gospel charts Jonathan McReynolds continues to hold on tight to the #1 spot with his sophomore album “Life Music: Stage Two.” Tasha Cobbs stays in the same spot this week with her new one “One Place LIVE,” and Anthony Brown & Group Therapy continue to consistently sell coming in at #3.
