The trailer for ‘Exodus: Gods and Kings’ focuses on Moses butting heads with Rhamses (Joel Edgerton) and provides glimpses at the plagues that will befall the Egyptians, including fire, bloody water and a lot of really bad weather. Chariot races and sword fights also abound.
The film stars Christian Bale as Moses and Joel Edgerton as Rhamses and looks to have the scale of previous Scott action adventures like “Gladiator.

The all star cast of Sigourney Weaver, Ben Kingsley, Aaron Paul and John Turturro co-star. Scott — who directed from a script by frequent collaborator Steven Zaillian (American Gangster) — returns to the swords-and-sandals domain of his 2000 film Gladiator, which won best picture. 20th Century Fox releases the film Dec. 12.
