Alexis Spight is riding the wave that comes from debuting an album in the Top 10 on the Billboard Gospel charts.
The runner up on last year’s Sunday Best competition debuted her new album ‘L.O.L’ to raving reviews.
Performance rights organization ASCAP recently highlighted the singers new album, previewing tracks with narrations in Spight’s own words.
The Buffalo, NY native was raised in the church and sees her singing as a ministry for people who struggle to be themselves and to find God.
In the audio portrait Spight reveals several things including, her favorite tracks on the new album, growing up as a preacher’s kid, her battle with acceptance, and why she didn’t want her fans to feel boxed in by her music.
