Path’s Christin Gordon catches up with two of Gospel music’s most talented artists at the American Heart Association’s “Most Powerful Voices Tour.” While interviewing Myron Butler, Path unexpectedly gets interrupted by Gospel legend Marvin Sapp. The exclusive interview becomes a candid conversation between two artists that are combining for a project in 2012.
Marvin Sapp is recovering over the loss of his wife Malinda. He recently released a Christmas song for Malinda called “I Hang This Stocking For You.” Marvin is sharing many of his thoughts and feelings about his loss on facebook, and Sapp’s daughter even released a memoir of thoughts pertaining to the loss of her mother Malinda.
Myron Butler’s group “Levi” enjoyed commercial success with the songs “Stronger” and “Set me Free.” Butler is also known as a singer, writer, choir director, organist and pianist. Since 1997, Butler has influenced the Gospel scene with his array of talents. Butler has worked with Kirk Franklin and his former group God’s Property. He’s also sung with Smokie Norful, Donald Lawrence, and Yolanda Adams.
Don’t miss this interview as the two stars tell us in what capacity they hope to work together.
