“In a season marked by struggle, transformation, and divine revelation, It Ain’t Over emerged as a declaration of hope and resilience. The title was inspired by a phrase that kept popping up in daily life, conversations, and even social media—reminding me that no matter the setbacks or mistakes, God’s story isn’t finished yet.” – Evvie Mckinney
The EP was recorded mainly between Atlanta and Nashville with renown producers and songwriters including: Rodney Jenkins (Darkchild), Stanley Brown, Makeba Reddick, and Dubba-AA. It also features DOE and Anike.
Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, Evvie McKinney rose to prominence as the winner of the inaugural season of The Four: Battle for Stardom. Known for her dynamic vocals and magnetic stage presence, she has since become a rising star in the music world, blending genres and delivering messages of faith, love, and perseverance through her music.
