Deep, rich guitar tones and big hooks are what drive the PAISTY JENNY vibe – a dirty rock band with something to say.
Velvet Revolver and Seether are familiar comparisons, with the roots of Motley Crue and GNR.
The band has shared stages with such notables as My Darkest Days, Buckcherry, Kid Rock, Like a Storm, Otherwise, Saving Abel, Cavo, Tesla, Puddle of Mudd, Saliva, and Drowning Pool.
Multiple career performances with Bret Michaels, Vince Neil, Jackyl, LA Guns, Firehouse, Slaughter, Lita Ford and Skid Row, prove PAISTY JENNY as an established, high-energy, adrenalin-filled rock show.
ANYTHING, PJ’s first “official” radio release produced by Michael Beck gained momentum after the song entered the FMQB ACC at #3 for most station adds, second to Nickelback, and at 199TH for total plays. At the end of the campaign, the song had proved its viability, rising to #90 in the nation for the number of spins.
CRIMINAL, the second single and first from the Massy/Beck sessions rose to #54 MEDIABASE Active Rock Indie Label Report and was submitted to, and qualified for the 56th Grammy Awards in the following categories; Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best New Artist, Best Rock Performance, Best Metal Performance, Best Rock Song.
LET IT GO, the 3rd single and HIGH the 4th, both landed at #137 on the BDS Mainstream Rock Indicator Chart.
The band signed with Cranked Up Records in 2024 and will soon be releasing their new album entitled “Jesus and Guns”.
The “Jesus and Guns” video was created to show a sense of unity and to shed light on how fragile our freedoms are. One wrong move in our history could have affected how we live today. We wanted to show the band going back in time and correcting a wrong before it happened.
By showing how one wrong move could have changed history, we can look at current events and understand that we are making decisions currently that may not be able to be reversed, and we need to come together and cherish our freedoms as one.
BEHIND “JESUS AND GUNS” MUSIC VIDEO
The concept of the video was the vision of Curtis McKinney of Cranked Up Records. Initially the idea was to have the band travel to multiple events of the past and correct anything that could have led the country down a dark path.
We enlisted actor James Lane (who has been in over 30 productions including The Lone Ranger, A Million Ways to Die in the West, Breaking Bad, etc) and after consulting with him, changed the narrative a bit to only include the Civil War in which a Confederate Soldier was about to change the course of the war if not stopped. The band was the “CIA” type of organization sent back in time to put a halt to him and keep America free.
