Dove Nominated & Stellar Award winning Gospel Praise & Worship Artist Stephen Hurd returns after 14yrs with an amazing new single “You Are My God”.

“You Are My God” was written by Stephen while in Pretoria South Africa in 2019, however when the world was hit with the pandemic, life presented overwhelming challenges, resulting in Stephen stepping away from the song. About two years ago Stephen said, “I heard that sound again,’’ so he put the song back on the table but this time with a few producers and said, “Let’s go. The vocal work was arranged by Mr Jimmy Johnson from Baltimore Maryland and you will love it.”
“You Are My God” has an easy sing along feel that anyone can sing on Sunday Morning or at an afternoon concert. “You Are My God” will debut as the first single from the long awaited worship project coming First Quarter 2025.
After taking a long hiatus from the industry to focus on writing a worship book and returning to Howard University to finish a degree Music Business Degree, Stephen decided that it’s now time to release some fresh anointed music that has been burning in his heart.
Stephen Hurd is no stranger to the Gospel community or the music industry. He first came on the scene in late 90’s with household songs like “Zion Is Calling” and “Gonna Have A Good Time”. However it was in the early 2000’s was when he connected with Jackie Patillo and Integrity Gospel when he started to push out hits like “Undignified Praise”, “Lead Me to The Rock”, “My Destiny”, “Great Praise” and “Revelation 19:1” that has kept the world singing songs of praise to Jesus.
