Set to be released on January 14, 2025, via Worthy Books (a division of Hachette Book Group), preorders are now available and can be made through major retailers and the book’s landing page at Worthy Books. Watch Merritt’s announcement video here.

In Merrit’s follow-up to his bestselling book, “I Take My Coffee Black,” he shares his journey through cancer with humor and candid insight. Confronting a diagnosis that changed his perspective on life, he weaves together personal experiences and reflections on the fragility of existence.

“Life is a beautiful mess, and sometimes it takes something monumental to shake us awake,” says Merritt. “This book is my love letter to that mess—full of laughter, tears, and everything in between.”

When faced with a diagnosis that turned his world upside down, Merritt discovered a new understanding of what truly matters in life. With his signature wit and a love for pop culture, he crafts a compelling narrative that invites readers to journey along with him through a sobering and uplifting exploration of life’s uncertainties as he confronts the reality of his diagnosis with optimism, urging us to embrace every moment and cherish the precious commodity of time.

As the creator of The Tyler Merritt Project, Merritt is known for the viral video “Before You Call The Cops,” which has reached over 100 million views and was voted one of the Top 20 videos of the year by NowThis Politics. In acting, his television credits include Netflix’s “Outer Banks,” Apple TV+’s “Swagger,” Disney+/Marvel’s “Falcon and the Winter Soldier,” NBC’s “Found,” and “Young Rock,” Lifetime TV’s “Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff,” and A24’s film “The Inspection.”
