Mali Music Signs With RCA Records

Mali Music Signs With RCA RecordsPATH has verified that Mali Music has been signed by mainstream label RCA records. Mali will make history at the label becoming their first Gospel artist. Mali will join the likes of Chris Brown, Usher, and Jennifer Hudson.

The news was confirmed this week when the RCA website featured Mali prominently on the homepage, and added his name to the artist listing. RCA also has a Gospel division, recently changing their name from Verity Records to RCA inspiration. Interesting enough Mali will not be managed on that side.

Mali is no stranger to working with secular imprints, as he was briefly signed to Akon’s label Konvict Music. Mali seems set on reaching different audiences with his unique style, and bringing the Gospel across both lines.

Mali recently dropped his first offering under the RCA imprint with his new single “Ready Aim” that you can listen to below.

The anticipation grew to curiosity once it was revealed that Mali was working closely with Akon and had later signed a record deal with RCA Records. […]
