[Ben Tankard to drop album Full Tank 3]
His new FULL TANK 3: CanTANKerous album features an all-star cast of special guests including multi-award winning saxophonist Gerald Albright, guitarist Phil Hughley, saxophonist Cord Martin, Grammy® award winning group Take-6 and song contributions from Judith Christie McAllister, Faith Hill and Sean P-Diddy Combs and Sting.
“It is super tough carving out time to be in the studio to record when you have reality TV cameras around you all day, but I have to say this record was a fun and rewarding experience,” says the Grammy®, Dove, SoulTrain awarded artist, producer and Reality TV Dad. “I am especially excited about my gospel instrumental rendition of ‘Like The Dew’ featuring Gerald Albright on sax.”
“I am also excited about my Smoothjazz single “Remember Wayman” which I wrote and produced in honor of my old NBA buddy and Smoothjazz artist the late Wayman Tisdale.”
Tankard again gives Jazz and Gospel music fans an stunning album of soothing originals, worshipful favorites and groovin’ arrangements of Urban music favorites. FULL TANK 3: CanTANKerous is available in Walmart and Target stores and online everywhere Friday, May 12. The album is released by Tankards’ label Ben-Jamin’ Universal Music with distribution from Central South Distribution.
