About Desmond Pringle
Christened in a Reformed Episcopal church in Charleston, South Carolina, Pringle said he recalls the period during which his family began to attend a Pentecostal church. “At that time, when I was about sixteen, I began to play keyboards for a non-denominational church,” he said. “While in college, I took role of Clarence in “A Good Man Is Hard to Find,” in 1992 and began to find other roles in musicals, including ‘Only the Strong’ and ‘Paint the White House Black,’ and then landed my first recording contract, with A&M Records.” By 1993, Pringle had moved to Chicago and joined its progressive gospel music community where Pringle wrote songs for Bishop T. D. Jakes, Rev. Clay Evans and others. Pringle serves as the Senior Pastor of The Watered Garden Fellowship in Los Angeles and appears in churches nationwide as a psalmist and guest speaker.  Of the future, he says simply: “It is full and I am fully embracing and engaging it with passion, power and purpose. I know that whatever I do, I’m going to praise God and keep on moving.”
