Now the man known for his soothing ballads and high octave range is teaming up once again with promoter/label head Kerry Douglas (James Fortune, Zacardi Cortez) in hopes of garnering some of that early success with the album “Survive.”
Pugh has seen continued success the last few albums on his own label EPM Music Group/P-Man Music, but the 2009 pairing with Douglas’ BlackSmoke Worldwide label was an electric tandem that capitalized on Kerry Douglas’ in your face style of promoting he became known for.
Earnest Pugh told Path MEGAzine publisher Kris Patrick that the first single off the album is “Breathe” by brothers Lucious Hoskins and Ken Hoskins. Producers include Michael Bereal (Dave Hollister, Beverly Crawford), and writer Kenny Curry.
We’l have the single as soon as it becomes available. In the mean time take a look at Pugh’s recently released music video for “I Need You to Breath.”
