Gospel Artist Damion Murrill & Siloam Soar Up the Radio Charts

Gospel Artist Damion Murrill & Siloam Soar Up the Radio ChartsWith only one week left of their radio promotional tour, GRAMMY-nominated Gospel artist Damion Murrill and his group Siloam are climbing the radio charts. Latest reports show that the debut single, “Kingdom Come” has claimed new position on the Broadcast Data Systems (BDS) Gospel charts, rising numerous spots from previous reports.

This week the single moved up to #62 on the BDS Chart and #60 on the Mediabase Chart. Just last week, the single was the #3 Most Added Song on the Billboard Gospel Charts and the #6 Gospel Indicator Most Added Song.

Damion Murrill & Siloam continue to generate quite the buzz leading up to the release of the debut project, Take A Stand, coming this spring. During the multi-city, promo tour, Murrill stopped by many radio stations and was featured on TBN in Chicago, NBC in Montgomery, AL, the Christian Television Network in Columbus, GA and Babbie’s House and Atlanta Live in Atlanta, GA.

The last stop of multi-city, promo tour consists of a live performance at Atlanta’s Gospel Jazz Live series hosted by Radio One. The event takes place on Sunday, March 30, 2014 at 3PM EST in Union City, Georgia. Listeners can hear Damion Murrill & Siloam via live stream at www.mypraiseatl.com. Atlanta listeners can also listen live on Praise 102.5 FM.

“We are so blessed to have such amazing supporters who continue to encourage and pray for us through this journey,” says Murrill. “Knowing that our music is touching even more lives is extremely gratifying. I am humbled to know that God has entrusted us to share His Word musically to His people. This is a privilege that we don’t take lightly. I pray that God’s vision continues to manifest and bless people by the masses.”

Groomed by the best, Damion Murrill is the protégé of multiple award-winning producer, songwriter and choir director Donald Lawrence. He rose to fame as part of his family group, The Murrills. The ensemble was known for backing Lawrence as part of the Tri-City Singers and for their Billboard-charting hits and GRAMMY and Stellar Award Nominations. Now the Divinity Music Group recording artist, Damion Murrill, steps out from the family group and delivers a brand new sound to Gospel music.
