Mali Music Performs on American Idol at the Request of Jennifer Lopez [VIDEO]

American Idol is in its 13th season, and judge/pop star Jennifer Lopez told a nation-wide artist that she’s a fan of Mali Music.

The former Gospel artist took to the stage and did his thing. Singing and even hopping on the piano to close out the love song ‘Beautiful.’

Going secular has stirred up a flurry of controversy for the budding star, but just maybe he can be a light in a dark industry.
