The Gospel group Soul Tempo has built an awesome repertoire of their own music and they are always honored to perform classic and legendary songs which have transcended over time.
While promoting their current project Trust In God, Soul Tempo was given the opportunity to record The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame song “People Get Ready”, penned by the Legendary Curtis Mayfield and originally recorded by the Impressions.
“People Get Ready” is a true classic and Soul Tempo was excited to record the song and stayed with the song’s original flow, while adding their awesome vocals and sound.
Soul Tempo is grateful to be one of many artists, such as Al Green, Aretha Franklin, Trinitee-5:7, Alicia Keys and Take 6 who have also recorded “People Get Ready”. Fans may now view the group’s version below.
