Starting out with the Billboard Gospel charts, we finally have some major movement as newcomer Travis Greene leaps to the #1 spot in sales with “The Hill.” Choir-master James Hall debuts his new album “New Era” at #2. Tasha Cobbs rests at #3, as another newcomer by the name of Trinity Dawson debuts his project “With All I Am” at #4.
In the world of radio Anthony Brown & Group Therapy continues to hold the #1 spot with the song “Worth” getting the most airplay. Hot on his heels is Kirk Franklin with “Wanna Be Happy?”
On the Christian Contemporary Music side of things (CCM), the compilation CD “Wow Hits 2016” takes the top spot from Chris Tomlin. Tomlin holds the #2 and #3 spot on the sales chart with “Adore: Christmas Songs of Worship,” and “Love Ran Red.”
In CCM radio, Jeremy Camp takes over the #1 spot on Billboard with “Same Power.” Last weeks leader MercyMe falls to #3.
Falling out of the top 10 is Maranatha! Music: Top 15, Royce Lovett, and Troy Sneed.
