Even though Thanksgiving has come and gone, Tyscot Music & Entertainment still has many reasons to be thankful. Today, the company can add 14 more reasons to its list.
Central City Productions announced the Final nominees for the 2014 Stellar Awards and much to Tyscot’s joy, two of its artists received a combined, outstanding 14 nominations.
The majority went to breakout group, Anthony Brown & group therAPy, who received a total of 8 nominations. The album’s producer Justin Savage, CD layout creative director Melanie Scott, as well as their music video for the hit song “Testimony” (produced by Brand X Media) also received recognition making it a grand total of 11 nods towards their self-titled debut project. After a whirlwind year of high profile appearances and continued rave reviews, the group is capping 2013 off with this momentous achievement.
Adding to an already special moment, the group will also be a featured performer during the award show’s live broadcast in January.

The legendary Rance Allen Group also received some love from the nominating committee. Long noted for its influence on Gospel music, the trailblazing group is now being recognized for its latest release Amazing Grace which features the documentary, Music Majors: The Rance Allen Group. The film celebrates the group’s longevity and gives viewers a firsthand account of what makes this dynamic group such a fan favorite.
The Rance Allen Group received three (3) nominations:
Category #11: Traditional Group/Duo of the Year
Category #13: Traditional Male Vocalist of the Year
Category #23: Special Event CD of the Year
