Tyler Perry recently discussed the success of 2013 biopics like “Fruitvale Station”, “12 Years a Slave”, and “42” which all proved to be box office hits. Bio-Pics aim to capture the struggles and triumphs of historical characters or periods in time.
Since next year’s Academy Awards is shaping up to make history with the most Black nominees, TheUrbanDaily.com sat down with director Tyler Perry – promoting his latest feature “Madea’s Christmas”– and leading lady Tika Sumpter to get their predictions on which Black actors/actresses are worthy of an Oscar nod.
