National Recording Artist and Hit-Songwriter Branden Anderson has celebrated another Top 30 milestone on Billboard with his new hit single “Promise.”
Bringing life, hope, and encouragement, “Promise” is a reminder that everyone has a God-given purpose and assignment for their lives. All we have to do is Trust God and follow Him and He will lead us to our promise.
Branden shares, “When deciding on the direction of the music video for this song, I really wanted to share a real-life story of someone who reached their promise after trusting God through all the ups and downs; all the twist and turns. And sure enough, as I was meeting with the videographer, Wille Roye, he shared that he knew of someone, Haley Smith. When I sat down with Haley, I knew this was God. She began to share of her early challenges as an entrepreneur, doing hair in her kitchen, and how God blessed her to launch Loveleys Hair Salon, becoming one of the biggest hair salon owners in the city of Richmond. When I asked Haley how she did it, she said ‘I trusted God, even when I didn’t know the next steps.’ Her faith in action perfectly matches the theme of the song, where the lyrics say, “I’ll trust You with all my heart and I won’t lean to my understanding. I acknowledge You in all of my ways and I know You’ll show me the way to the “Promise.”
