“Tis The Season is a song that’s nostalgic with a sound, feeling, and lyrics to remind us to love, give, share, and be happy to the best of our ability, regardless of life’s challenges,” Barnshaw states. “The inspiration for this song was me experiencing all of these things when family and friends would come together to eat, reflect, celebrate, and enjoy one another’s company during the holidays. Musically, Donny Hathaway’s holiday classic, This Christmas inspired me. It would always, and it still does, put me in a good place during the holidays.“
