To raise appreciation for sacred music and to marry the church and the Gospel music industry, Dr. Alyn E. Waller, along with prominent musician and producer Dr. Garland “Miche” Waller, launched an independent record label in 2015.
Since then, the label, Enon Music Group, has released Billboard-chart-topping albums and #1 radio singles, received multiple Stellar Award nominations, and has grown an exemplary catalog of contemporary and traditional Gospel projects from artists now known throughout the world.
Adding to their list of independent music accolades, Enon Music Group (EMG) artists received multiple Avidity Award nominations this year. The Avidity Awards recognize excellence in Gospel music, with a focus on independent artists and labels. The 10th Annual Avidity Awards were presented in Dallas, TX, last week, and EMG took home two awards.
Dr. Alyn E. Waller took home the 2025 Avidity Award for Male Traditional Gospel Artist of the Year. Dr. Waller is a 3X Stellar Gospel Award nominee, senior pastor of Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church in Philadelphia, PA, and president of Enon Music Group. His Avidity Award recognition was accomplished through his EP I STILL BELIEVE that features the Gospel radio hit “I’ve Decided To Make Jesus My Choice.” The EP also features his genre-unifying collaboration with GRAMMY® nominated and multiple Dove Award-winning CCM artist Joseph Habedank on the song “We Sing Glory To Your Name.”

EMG Vice President and highly recognized musician and songwriter, Garland “Miche” Waller, snagged the 2025 Avidity Award for Producer of the Year. Miche Waller’s producer prowess is evident from albums by Zak Williams & 1Akord, Enon Tabernacle’s Fresh Anointing Choir, and the Enon Tabernacle Mass Choir. Additionally, Miche Waller is credited to producing albums and songs by John P. Kee, Russel Delegation, Chris Simpson, GMWA Mass Choir, and the Philadelphia Mass Choir.
“In what was a GREAT weekend, I was honored to receive the Avidity Award for Producer of the Year,” Garland Waller states. “I am humbled always for the recognition as I strive for excellence, being mindful that our works are to be done as unto the Lord – the Glory goes to Him.”
