Artist, songwriter, and worship leader Ethan Kent creates music that bridges cultures and strengthens faith.
After releasing his compelling TIME EP, he returns with a new multi-single release that boldly fuses Afrobeat rhythms with faith-filled declarations. “Only God Did That For Me” is his multi-single, followed by a worshipful reprise,”Ekwueme,” featuring Nigerian Afrobeat artist Henrisoul.
“Only God Did That For Me” is a celebration of God’s miraculous power to open doors no man can shut and to bring testimonies only He deserves credit for. With vibrant Afrobeat elements underscoring Kent’s soaring vocals and prophetic lyrics, the song is both an anthem of victory and a reminder to dream bigger, trust deeper, and give God all the glory.

“This song was birthed in a moment of raw faith,” Ethan explains. “I wrestled with anxiety over seemingly impossible challenges. I prayed, and a declaration rose in my spirit that Soon I’ll have this testimony – only God did that for me. The declaration turned into a melody, and within minutes, God delivered a full song.”
The multi-single includes “Ekwueme/Only God Did That For Me,” a reprise track whose title draws from the Nigerian Igbo word “Ekwueme,” meaning “The God who says it and does it.” The energy and authentic artistry Henrisoul brings are a worshipful response that honors God as a faithful Father who always keeps His promises.
“It was so fun working with Henrisoul in the studio,” says Ethan. “He brings a fun, energetic, and authentic vibe to this track that helped me convey the heart of a God who never fails — in true Afrobeat style.”
Henrisoul is a recording artist whose unique sound, which he calls “AFRO LIFE,” merges Afrobeat and highlife melodies in honor of his Nigerian African roots. His music carries a contagious joy and authenticity, making him one of the most exciting voices in contemporary African Gospel music.

Ethan’s “Only God Did That For Me” is a global sound of faith that celebrates God’s power to do the impossible. His multi-single is released on his independent label, Tonic Blueprint, in partnership with TRIBL Records. Download or stream the multi-single HERE on your favorite digital music outlet.
