First Baptist Church Murfreesboro and Pastor James McCarroll are excited to announce the release of their inaugural Christmas album, BEHOLD THE KING, a worship experience designed to infuse the Christmas season with biblical reflection and spiritual depth.
BEHOLD THE KING is a 12-track compilation of the best-loved sacred Christmas songs that bring together the church’s powerful musical heritage and its deep commitment to Christ-centered discipleship.
“This is more than an album; it is an invitation to gather with the saints of the ages in surrendered adoration to our Savior,” says Pastor James McCarroll. “It is to remind us that God’s greatest gift should be accompanied by our greatest worship.”
Produced by FBC Minister of Music Quintin Coleman, BEHOLD THE KING is a worship-focused Christmas album rooted in the joy and reverence of the Advent and Christmas story.
To deepen your Christmas worship experience, First Baptist Church (FBC) has created an 8-Day Christmas Devotional Guide, with each day corresponding to a song on the album. FBC developed the devotional to help families, small groups, and individual believers encounter the true meaning of Christmas through scripture, prayer, and worshipful meditation.

With contemporary worship, traditional foot-stomping renditions, quartet-inspired arrangements, and beautifully orchestrated ballads, BEHOLD THE KING showcases the diverse talent of FBC’s music ministry. In the spirit of creative collaboration, the album features vocal appearances by GRAMMY®-nominated artist Lawrence Thomison and Nashville-based quartet The Marable Twins.
