
GRAMMY Award winning singer and songwriter, Joe L. Barnes honors the memory of his late father with his new single, “Grief, Joy, & Gratitude”.

Joe shares, “It’s been several days since my father passed and I think I’m beginning to understand what David meant when he said, ‘I command my soul to bless the Lord.’”
Joel Barnes, known as Joe L, a Kentucky native, is a songwriter and worship leader based outside of Atlanta, Georgia. He not only has a passion for song writing, but also burns to teach and equip others with the tools needed to create and release their sound of authenticity.
In April of 2020, Joe L, alongside Maverick City released the song, “Promises,” which has now been viewed over 200M times on YouTube. Barnes has gone on the release other classics such as “Yahweh We You” alongside Elevation Worship, and His debut album “The Good Shepherd” alongside RCA Provident.
