Sherwin Gardner Releases ‘Christmas Glow’ Album

Sherwin Gardner Releases ‘Christmas Glow’ Album

The Caribbean’s global gospel music ambassador Sherwin Gardner continues to ride the waves of success that his 2024 viral smash “Find Me Here (Blessings Find Me)” brought with its 2 billion TikTok views and millions of digital streams.

He has gifted his fans with an engaging, six-track set of original Christmas songs that are bound to raise the temperature no matter how cold and frightful the weather outside may be. The Christmas Glow project combines elements of Gardner’s Caribbean heritage with Afrobeat and U.S. Pop music flavors.

The set opens with the Island groove “Christmas Joy” that recalls Israel Kamakawiwo’ole’s Hawaiian rendition of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.” The title cut is a discordant collab with singer on the rise Franchesca.

Leh, We Go Tell It” is a percussive, danceable Afrobeat that calls cities and countries around the globe to come together ro celebrate the Jesus birth. “Christmas Drip” is a Caribbean Pop groove about dressing up for the holiday. Gardner also celebrates holiday romance on the Reggae-styled “Wrap Me Up” and the ballad “With You” where he thanks God for his new love.

“This Christmas album was born out of the joy and celebration we experience in the Caribbean during the season,” Gardner says. “It’s that time when families gather, friends visit from house to house, everyone’s painting, cleaning, cooking, and praying together — everything feels new again. I wanted to capture that island spirit but also blend it with the warmth of Christmas abroad — the cool weather, cozy moments, and love that connects us all. It’s a fresh, joyful, and uniquely Caribbean take on Christmas that I believe people everywhere will enjoy.”

Throughout the set, Gardner’s tight tenor and Trinidadian patois add flavor and zest to an astounding and festive set of new holiday tunes.
