Houston, TX — Leading Gospel magazine Path MEGAzine recently announced that it’s getting into the clothing industry with its new inspirational line “Path Wear.”

The new clothing will feature inspirational and motivational messages, along with seasonal apparel. This marks another entity that the production giant Parallel Path Entertainment has funneled through its assortment of faith-based brands which include Path MEGAzine, The Gospel View web show, and the video production & design services Parallel Path Entertainment’s name originates from.

Kris Patrick, CEO of the parent company Parallel Path Entertainment says, “Path Wear is something that will allow us to make clothes that we wish were commercially available.” “With our first few designs we received an immediate response from people looking for trendy, positive, and motivational clothing.”

The theme of our first wave of designs is church slogans. “We thought consumers would be able to relate to popular church slogans that our Pastors say frequently,” says Patrick. Sayings like “The Devil is a Lie!” and “Amen Lights & Walls,” have sold well. Patrick reiterates, “So the first designs are inspired by the church, but we’re also designing practical motivational messages anyone can apply to keep them on the right PATH.”

The clothes are available online by visiting www.store.pathmagazine.com, or you can call in and place orders over the phone. The shirts will also be appearing in select stores across the country. Retail vendors looking to carry the line are welcome to contact Path Wear for special merchant discounts. Churches looking to sell Path Wear in their church bookstore or also encouraged.

Norman Hutchins’ New CD “If You Didn’t Know Now You Know” Is in Stores Now

Norman Hutchins, is back with a new CD.  Norman Hutchin’s has penned such hits as “A move of God is on Its Way” and “God’s Got a Blessing With Your Name on It.”   This is the seventh solo album for the Stellar Award and Dove award nominee.

From Norman Hutchins website:

Having survived a bout with blindness and other notable setbacks in recent memory, Hutchins faith is imaginably stronger than ever on “If You Didn‘t Know, Now You Know,” his seventh solo album. The process therein, was unsurprisingly born from circumstance, but not all his own.

Overall, the theme of “trusting God” rings true, as the results of “If You Didn‘t Know, Now You Know,” were derived from a two to three month period where Hutchins led praise and worship in the church.

“While we were singing God dropped these lyrics in the atmosphere and I would look at the keyboard player and tell him to follow me.” Encouraged by where the process would take him, Hutchins continued the course and ultimately manufactured what will easily be deemed one of his most brilliant works to date.

Popular TBN Host Jack Van Impe Ends 23 Year Relationship with TBN Claiming Censorship

The fiery host Jack Van Impe can often be heard predicted the end times on his hit show “Jack Van Impe Presents,” which airs on TBN.  In a report by The Christian Post, we find out that Trinity Broadcasting Network president Paul Crouch has recently denied claims of censorship for not airing an episode of televangelist Jack Van Impe where he disputed Rick Warren’s church-growing strategy.  Mega-church Pastor Rick Warren is best known for his best selling book “Purpose Driven Life.”

Impe withdrew his show, and ended his 23-year relationship with TBN last week as the result of the dispute with Crouch. Impe said afterwards, in his show currently available on the Internet, that Crouch’s decision to not air the episode was “because of a couple of cronies.”

A TBN legal department spokesperson told The Christian Post that the station would not comment on the specifics of the dispute. However, a statement by Crouch is available on the station’s website. Crouch stated that it was a program policy issue rather than censorship that led to the decision.

“It has been my position for TBN’s 38 years of ministry that TBN preach Christ only and that it does not become a bully pulpit for endless debate and/or criticism on/of various doctrinal issues among denominations, churches, ministries or individuals,” Crouch stated in his letter. “Specifically, it has been TBN’s policy not to allow its broadcast air time to be utilized for personal attacks by one Christian brother against another or to call them out by name.”

During the show in question, Impe said Southern California pastors Rick Warren and Robert Schuller were wrong for speaking at various faith-inclusive

conferences. “… Schuller was a speaker for the Common Word conference while Warren spoke at an Islamic event in Washington, D.C. last year. Wherever Chrislam or its equivalent are promoted, Christians should run for their spiritual lives and I’m really gonna spend time on both of these men for the entire program next week,” Impe said.

During Impe’s recent video-taped shows, he and his wife, Rexella, promote a DVD titled, “Reclaiming and Restoring Biblical Christianity,” and make claims that the methodology used by other pastors in “modern” churches is wrong. There needs to be a return to “old time religion,” the televangelist says.

Saddleback Church Pastor Warren’s The Purpose Driven Church book and model are prominently disputed in Impe’s DVD promotion and show discussion. Among the disputed elements that Impe says prevail in the Purpose Driven Church model, are contemporary, rock-style worship music and calling a church a “campus.”

Impe, who is based in Rochester Hills, Mich., states that his show has 16 other stations ready to begin broadcast in July.

“I will not stand to have my freedom of speech taken away from me,” he says in a recent episode. “God’s called me to be the prophetic voice and I will not stand down for any man, any church, any Christian organization.”

Impe’s last official broadcast on TBN was June 8.

TBN, based in Southern California, is the world’s largest religious network and reportedly America’s most watched faith channel. Its inspirational programs are geared toward those of Protestant, Catholic and Messianic Jewish traditions.

Micah Stampley Set to Release New CD ‘One Voice’

Music World Gospel/Interface Entertainment recording artist and international worship leader, Micah Stampley, will release his fifth CD, One Voice, in stores August 23, 2011. One Voice features 12 songs, including two interludes. The CD is produced by Micah Stampley and co-produced by Cameron Sankey. “Shout” and “Hosanna” will impact gospel radio in July. The title track, “One Voice” will impact INSPO and CCM radio in July.

Micah brings each track on the CD vibrantly to life—from the thumping, joyful world-beat of “Hosanna,” to “Shout,” a celebratory, praise and worship song that calls believers to action because of their victory in Jesus Christ, which is a song that will resound in congregations around the globe. In writing songs for his new album, Micah didn’t have to go far to work with his favorite collaborator. His wife, Heidi, co-wrote much of the album, including the potent title track, “One Voice.” “I wrote the music and Heidi wrote all of the lyrics for that song,” said Micah. “She began to write the lyrics of that song: ‘different colors, many expressions, but when we worship, we sing to an audience of one, we are salt and light, the world must see us unified,’” Micah says reciting the lyric. “It was just amazing to hear. She’s such a poet. I feel that ‘One Voice’ is definitely my best album to date. I hope that by listening to this album people around the globe will experience a spiritual awakening and renewed passion in their relationship with God.”

“We are very excited about Micah’s new CD project, ‘One Voice,’” said Mathew Knowles, founder, President and CEO of Music World Entertainment. “This project demonstrates the depth and versatility of his extraordinary talent and will be another milestone in his career.”

With a mix of international and national visits, Micah will kick off promo/concert dates in Africa, in Abuja and Port Hartcourt, Nigeria at the House on the Rock (June 24-June 26), where he will be performing songs from his new album. He will then head to London (June 28-July 1). After London, Micah will return stateside for the Music World Gospel Showcase at the ESSENCE Music Festival, where he will perform at the Ford Superlounge at the Louisiana Superdome on Sunday, July 3, alongside label mates, Trin-i-tee 5:7, Brian Courtney Wilson and Vanessa Bell Armstrong. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and showtime is 7:00 p.m. Micah will also perform at the Music World Entertainment/Beyond Productions booth (#220) at the Ernest M. Morial Convention Center on Sunday, July 3 at 11:00 a.m. Other scheduled performances/appearances include Walmart, Verizon, and SIRIUS XM Satellite Radio, among others. Following the ESSENCE Music Festival, Micah will perform and make numerous appearances during the International Auxiliaries Ministry Convention (AIM), July 5 through July 8 in Houston. Micah is also a staff member with the Church of God in Christ’s (COGIC) International Music department under the direction of Dr. Judith McAllister.

Named the 2004 Stellar Awards National Star Search winner, Micah Stampley is a musical prodigy who has been performing since the age of seven. He is widely known as an international worship leader and for his astounding bass-to-first soprano vocal range. In 2005, Billboard magazine placed him on its Top 10 Gospel Music Artists list and AOL Black Voices included him on its roster of the Top 11 Gospel Geniuses. Micah is married to Heidi, a kindred spirit with whom he now raises five children, ages six to 16. A partner in life and in music, they are the co-founders of Interface Entertainment and Operation I Believe, Inc., a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, launched in 2006 with platforms that include humanitarian and outreach initiatives. Micah is a third-generation license preacher.
