Beverly Crawford's dream to record a live CD in the entertainment capital of the world came true in April.
A fresh start with highly regarded hitmakers JDI Records granted her heart's desire with a live recording at Bishop Kenneth Ulmer's Faithful Central Bible Church.
The result for the multiple Grammy & Dove Award nominee is “Live From Los Angeles” – released on September 4. Featuring the smash hit single “He’s Done Enough,” “Live from Los Angeles” marks the return of one of gospel music’s premier vocalists, after a 3 year hiatus from recording.
Featuring special guest appearances by Ricky Dillard, Edwin Hawkins, er son (T.J.) and daughter (Trina) and Moses Tyson, “Live from Los Angeles” is a package filled with diverse choices.
“It’s always been a dream of mine to record live in Los Angeles, every since the heyday of gospel back with the late great James Cleveland” says Crawford. “So you can’t believe my excitement when God divinely connected my path with LA-based JDI Records and we were able to make my dream come true. My husband Todd & I have been totally immersed the last several years pastoring and building our church in my hometown of Gainesville, FL and had passed on so many recording offers. Likewise, JDI Records wasn’t actively looking to add any more artists to its roster. Yet God, in his infinite wisdom, did a holy hook-up and I am so excited about this project – I believe it’s the best one I’ve ever done!”
