Elder Marc Cooper’s Conference

A week of service featuring some of the nation’s premier ministers will precede the “live” recording of the church choir “Voices In The Upper Room”

Miami, FLA (July 18, 2008) Renowned pastor and producer, Elder Marc Cooper and his Miami based Cooper Temple Church of God in Christ family are gearing up for their Upper Room Ministries Conference, a week of services featuring top ministers, culminating with the long awaited recording of Cooper Temple’s celebrated music ministry.
Commencing Monday, July 28, 2008, Elder Cooper and his lovely wife Joy, will host Bishop Liston Page, Dr. John Guns, Dr. Jamal H. Bryant, and Pastor Sheryl Brady in a consecrated week of ministry thru the Word, following the church vision of spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ and expanding the kingdom of God in not just their community, but to the world as well. The week will end with the “live” recording of the church choir, “Voices In Th e Upper Room.” All services begin at 7:30 pm nightly.
Elder Cooper is surely no stranger to the recorded music industry following his phenomenal success with the Stellar award nominated Marc Cooper & Friends project in the early nineties and the numerous successes that followed with the formation of the Miami Mass Choir under his direction. As a result, Elder Cooper has secured his place as one of the industry’s most gifted songwriters and psalmists.
In 1997, Elder Cooper and the 70 voice choir solidified its place in the annals of gospel music when the choir garnered the Stellar Awards nomination for Choir of the Year and brought the honors home to Miami.
First Lady Joy Cooper mirrors the music ministry success of Elder Cooper. A noted psalmist in her own right, it was she who penned and sang the lead in the now classic song, “What God Has For Me Is For Me.” The song went on to receive numerous accolades in the gospel community and is still one of the most ministered songs throughout the world, adding yet one more Stellar Award to the Cooper family awards roster.
