SOULFRUIT PRESENTED WITH 2011 RISING STAR AWARD AT GOSPEL MUSIC HERITAGE MONTH CELEBRATION

Contemporary Gospel trio Soulfruit was presented with the 2011 Rising Star Award by Congresswoman Sheila Jackson-Lee and the Gospel Music Heritage Month committee this past Friday, September 30, 2011 at New Light Church (East) in Houston, TX which is led by Bishop I.V. Hilliard.

This years featured Gospel Music Heritage Month concert guests included Yolanda Adams, Le’Andria Johnson, Chad Brawley, Trin-i-tee 5:7 and V. Michael McKay to name a few.

Soulfruit recently released their music video “No Grudge” (below) and looks forward to a National album release next year.
