This Weeks Top Gospel Albums

The latest effort from Mary Mary titled The Sound celebrates its eleventh consecutive week atop Billboard’s Top Gospel Charts. In addition, the album sits at #2 on the Top Christian & Gospel Charts, #23 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Charts, and #100 on the Top 200 Albums Charts. The WOW Gospel 2009 compilation maintains the #2 position while Just Love  from Brian Courtney Wilson jumps seven positions to the #3 spot. Donnie McClurkin’s We All Are One (Live In Detroit) comes in at #4 while The Power of One from Israel Houghton jumps six places to round out the week’s top five albums. Other notable chart movement includes James Fortune & FIYA’s The Transformation jumping five spots to #8 while God’s Image from GI has the week’s largest chart movement, moving twenty places to #18. Destiny, the latest effort from New Direction, debuts at #22.
