Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church Honors the Late Hanq Neal with New Single “I Believe”
If you converge history, musical genius, steadfastness and the love of the Lord into one place, the location would be “Oh To Be Kept By Jesus”, the 50th anniversary recording project by Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church. The first single on the project “I Believe” offers a merging of the past and the future with former minister of music Hanq Neal singing lead to the song written and arranged by new minister of music, Leon C. Lewis. Hanq Neal, the prolific composer, songwriter and singer, whose untimely death earlier this year left a void in the gospel music scene, gave this project all that he had. Read the full post »
