Sherwin Gardner, the veteran Caribbean artist who’s been churning out Afrobeats from the land of flying fish for the last couple of years, has dropped an inspiring new track, “Mama.” The song is a shoutout to mothers everywhere. “Mama, we salute you, we celebrate you, this is your day, so we’re here to say, we love you, Mama,” he sings.

Mervin Mayo Releases New Album ‘God Did It’
Mervin Mayo – the crooning cop – is back on his beat, the music beat that is. He has dropped his first album, “God Did It” (Mervin Mayo Productions / God’s Glory Music Group / Tyscot Records), on all digital music platforms. The nine-song set features Mervin’s old school R&B styled approach to gospel music. Sherwin Gardner Hits 1 Billion TikTok Views with “Find Me Here”
Gospel Song Makes History: First to Reach 1 Billion Views on TikTok

Sherwin Gardner, a Trinidadian singer based in the Bahamas, has been singing professionally for four decades. But, his current release, “Find Me Here (Blessings Find Me),” is the biggest of his career. It has surpassed a billion views on TikTok and earned him a seat in a tight circle of TikTok influencers such as illusionist, Zach King, and actor, The Rock. It’s the first gospel song to reach this milestone. Since the Afrobeat track dropped in January, it has scored 1.1 billion TikTok views, 9.2 million digital streams, and 2.2 million user-generated creations. He recently stopped into the Manhattan offices of his distributor ADA to meet the staff and celebrate the song’s success.
