Weeks after Glorilla and Kirk Franklin took significant backlash for taking home the Dr. Bobby Jones Best Gospel Song at the BET Awards, the unlikely duo team up to release a music video that also features Kierra Sheard and Maverick City.
The song has striked up quite a debate on whether or not that award should be awarded to true Gospel artists after a string of secular artist have took home the trophy in recent years.
Glorilla, known for her hardcore lyrics, proclaims to be a Christian and for the most part has remained quiet during viral conversations that have stirred up the Gospel industry. Her fan base continues to back her and has remained largely positive about the collaboration with Gospel great Kirk Franklin.
Lets pray God uses her to introduce some people to the Lord that may not otherwise listen to traditional Gospel music.
