
Bishop T.D. Jakes experienced a health incident after delivering a powerful sermon during Sunday morning service at the Potters House in Dallas, Texas (November 24, 2024).
Church members witnessed Bishop Jakes as he paused after speaking slowly towards the end of his sermon, then, within less than a minute, he was surrounded by a group of people with someone asking everyone to pray.
According to The Potter’s House, the Dallas-based megachurch where he serves as pastor, shared a release that stated, “During today’s service, Bishop T.D. Jakes, 67, experienced a slight health incident and received immediate medical attention following a powerful hour long message.”
Bishop Jakes is currently in stable condition and under the care of medical professionals.

The Potter’s House is a non-denominational, multicultural church founded by Jakes in 1996. According to the church’s website, it has more than 30,000 members and is consistently ranked among the largest and most influential churches in the U.S.
