Church of The Holy Sepulchre Struggles With 9 Million Shekel Water Bill

One of the holiest sites in Jerusalem is faced with a harsh reality that could effect millions of Christian tourists who flood the holy city annually.

The Church of the Holy Sepulchre, recognized by Catholics and other Christian denominations as the site of Jesus’ crucifixion and burial, is struggling with a 9 million shekel ($2.3 million) unpaid bill owed to the Jerusalem water company. Continue reading →

Starting Nov. 2, Gospel music supporters will have the opportunity to bid on one-of-a-kind items on the Gospel Music Association’s“Growing More Active” online silent auction. Via eBay, auction visitors can bid not only on such collectibles as autographed memorabilia from Third Day and Guy Penrod, but also on “experiences” including VIP concert and meet-and-greet opportunities with fan favorites including Toby Mac, MercyMe, James Fortune, Jessica Reedy, Sandi Patty and The Oak Ridge Boys.
