The music ministry of Terri McConnell will certainly encourage your heart and lift your spirit with a joy felt message of God’s love for all. McConnell is a gifted songstress whose warm smile expresses her dedication and determination to spread the Gospel throughout the world.
McConnell was recently honored at the 2013 Rhythm of Gospel Music Awards, taking home the honors for Traditional Female Vocalist of the Year. The award marks the second Rhythm of Gospel Award received by the budding Gospel artist.
Says McConnell, “Winning this award gives me such a feeling of accomplishment for the hard work and dedication it took. I know that my real award/reward comes from above, but it’s a wonderful feeling to know that you are rewarded on this earth. Anything worth having calls for dedication, tears, and hard work.”
In 2013 McConnell is making noise with Billboard charting songs, and two European world tours including Italy and Switzerland. A native of Okmulgee, Oklahoma and born to Ellsworth and Carrie Biglow, McConnell is no stranger to the Gospel music industry.
Recently, Ebony Magazine named Terri McConnell and her project “He Worked It Out” one of the new and hottest albums in black music. Since then she has continued to move forward in the ministry of music; appearing on many stages like the Bobby Jones Gospel TV Show, Singsation, The Word Network, and has toured nationally performing at church services.

McConnell said she will never forget the words of the legendary Albertina Walker, “Girl you can sang, don’t change and one day the world will know who you are.” Three years later she would record the traditional song Walk With Me with Albertina.

Terri recently told Path MEGAzine that her utmost focus is that God will get all the honor from what He has called and blessed her to do through music. McConnell said she “will continue to uphold a standard of living that will be pleasing and acceptable unto God while singing praises and lifting her voice to the glory of God!”
McConnell is married to a devoted man of God, Rev. Roy McConnell.
