World Watch List Highlights 10 Countries Where Christians Face the Most Persecution
For the 12th consecutive year the hermit communist country of North Korea remains the world’s most restrictive nation in which to practice Christianity, according to the Open Doors 2014 World Watch List (WWL). However, a major trend which the WWL tracked in 2013 was a marked increase in persecution for Christian communities in states that are commonly regarded as “failed.” A failed country is defined “as a weak state where social and political structures have collapsed to the point where government has little or no control.” Read the full post »

NFL Safety Quintin Demps Tries His Hand at Gospel Music – Looking for Talented Artist
Former Houston Texans safety now with the Kansas City Chiefs, Quentin Demps is aggressively pursuing his Gospel music aspirations, and I must say he sounds nice.
In the midst of a successful NFL career, Demps says he was called by God to found the independent record label ministry Purpose By Faith. In celebration of the launch of Purpose By Faith, Demps is gearing up to kick-off a talent search competition to seek an artist to be featured on his upcoming album, slated for a summer 2014 release. New GSN Christian Reality Show Plays Matchmaker with Church Singles – IT TAKES A CHURCH Hosted by Natalie Grant
GSN announced today that it has green-lit the new original series IT TAKES A CHURCH, with 2014 Grammy® Nominee and multi Dove Award winner Natalie Grant as host. In each one-hour episode of IT TAKES A CHURCH, members of a Christian congregation play matchmaker in a competition to help an unattached fellow parishioner find their match.
